Wish You Were Here

This is a cover version of the brilliant Pink Floyd song 'Wish You Were Here', by acclaimed UK duo 'Briggs'. Briggs boasts two talented members, Lisa Marie and Patrick David, who formed the partnership following a whirlwind romance in Paris during the mid 1980s. Marie was previously a member of girl band 'Backchat' and David played guitar with prog-rock giants 'Robotika'. The pair toured extensively until their break up in 2003, after which they refused to speak to each other for 4 years. Briggs reformed for a one off gig at the G8 concert and reconciled their differences, announcing their decision to go back to the studio earlier this year to work on their 9th studio album, entitled 'Love is Just a Word'. Due to contractual difficulties, the video to this single features images of Patrick David's faithful canine, Snuggledog, who works closely with the duo on tour.
