Super Mario Galaxy 2 - Nintendo World Launch Party [5/21/10] #13

Exclusive Super Mario Galaxy 2 Launch Party @ Nintendo World in NYC on May 21st, 2010.

This is a short vid to show off some of the promo items they gave you when you signed in. 1 of 2 different tee shirts depending on what icon you got on a scratch ticket they gave youi (I was able to get both shirts). A nice Mario glossy picture for Mr. Martinet to autograph for you .... A SMG2 promo carry backpack bag. And finally, some 'space food' for eating if your in the galaxy lol. They did have other items like plush toys, chess sets, and gift cards, but unfortunately I wasn't able to snag any of those :(

That kinda sucks.

I happen to have been logged in and saw the invite pop in my mailbox. I responded literally 3 mins after they were sent out and got right in with my return confirmation email printout.

The party was indeed very small Id say maybe 200 people tops. It was like hanging out in a large apartment lol. Great time !

Got there right on time ... party was from 5-8, but there was a line outside when we arrived. The whole thing was maybe 250 people tops, so it was very small and didnt feel crowded. We left right about 8 after getting our autographs.

I really wanted to go to this, but unfortunately my RSVP was too late. I was surpised since it was only 5 hours after the E-mail was sent out. I've been a huge Mario fan since a kid, but I did get to go to the launch event on Sunday =).
