Thanks for posting this but to be honest although I really like my Sony Nex 5 the built in mic and external mic are really poor. I acutally took my external mic back to the Sony shop to get it tested as the difference between the built-in and external was minimal, at least not worth the money I paid for it. After about 5 mins or so the shop rep returned with some film, with and without my external mic. The difference was hardly noticable. A real disappointment.

great work postingall of your samples with the nex-5 functions, really helped me made a decission. one request, can you please post a footage taken in some really loud environment, for example in some techno club, with the external mic, in order to see how the NEX is adjusting its sound levels. would be very helpful, thank you very much
