  • they use long style kung fu in Tibet?

  • The origin were verbally passed down thru generations of sifus. No one knows if they are 100% true or even partial truth. Actually from what I know there is no more traces of Kung Fu in today's Tibet except wrestling. Well it really isn't important about the truthfulnes because I will never have the ability to verify anyway. Cheers

  • Thanks for sharing founek. This is much different than Chua Tup Bo I practice. My version is an extension of Lau Sing Sau and the Pak Hok Kuen I practice is yet again much different than this. Still, very nice to see your form. Thanks.

  • Thanks for your kind words. I have seen the Chuit Yap Bo posted by u. It looks quite similar to my first subform of Chuit Yap Bo (the one presented in this video is the second subform). However your version of CYB has a few more movement that are not present in mine. I will post mine if I have the time to take the video.

  • This is really an interesting style. Of course, this was only a demonstration and he really performed well. I would like to see more with some history too. Thanks!

  • @SijoJay, Lion's Roar is said to be the root of the 3 main off-shoots of Tibetan White Crane. They are Lama Pai, Hop Gar and Pak Hok Pai. It is an interesting lineage, if you google it you can find out more.

  • @SijoJay , there has been some sharing of knowledge between Hung Kuen and Tibetan White Crane. The lesser 5 animals set of Pak Hok Pai (TWC) was derived from Hung Gar. And some of the long fist with Hung Kuen resemble TWC. I practice both Hung Gar and TWC, they compliment each other well.

  • Thanks for posting. I practice Hung Kuen Wong Fei Hung Lineage and it is said that our Tiger Crane/Fu Hok Seung Ying Kuen actually contains Tibetan White Crane, not Fujian/Fukien White Crane. I can see similar techniques in your Tao Lu. I also study Wing Chun Ip Man Lineage which contains similar techniques from Fujian/Fukien White Crane. Big difference in these Crane styles!

  • @darth8freak Yes actually, there is another Tibetan style called the Lions Roar and it is long fist as well.

  • Learn how to spell and write English, could not understand a single word you typed....lol

  • That is not Pak Hok Pai is other think but never Pak Hok Pai, a real shame this kind of think some people said this is pak hok pai.
