Congressman Mark Kirk of Illinois pretends to read the cap and trade bill HR2454

Congressman Mark Kirk, R.I.N.O from Illinois, today voted fof the Cap and Trade bill (HR2454 American Clean Energy And Security Act of 2009). In this video, we see Congressman Kirk pretending to read the bill....although conspicuously absent by his failure to mention it is the accompanying 300-page amendment that was added at 3am on the morning of the 26th.

This bill, including the 300 page amendment, clocked in at over 1500 pages. Do you really believe Rep. Kirk read it? If so, you're the same kind of fool who would vote this man into office.

The 2010 midterm are coming, Mr Kirk. This one's in the bank and collecting interest.
