  • How do I tune my differential such that the car (RWD) handles in a relateively neutral way?

I don't need any accurate numbers; just estimates will do.

Thanks for the great tutorial, by the way.

  • An estimate: 75-80% Acc., 60-65% Decel.

    And feather the trigger! =)

  • I learned a lot from your tutorials. Is it possible to do a tutorial on Damping next?

  • There's a good possibility that I can get a tutorial out on spring damping and rebound, ride height, etc. I am very busy and don't have much time for anything; but when time does permit, you shall see more.

  • very nice one of the most helpful videos about forza a I've ever seen, nice work man!! by the way not boring at all !!!

  • Thank you for the kind words, daritachan. There will be more. Keep checking back.

  • can i just say thanks for the vid, excellent, and i had a bit of a moment because of your vid when it finally clicked just what im supposed to be "looking for" when im changing the various sliders and tuning for lap after lap. I thought i had the concept of diffs down pat but I hadnt fully grasped it. Now ive got new stuff to concentrate on so thanks again :D

  • would it be possible for you to do a tutorial for high HP rear wheel drive cars? Im having trouble tuning my z06, i either get major oversteer/sliding/sudden spin outs or understeer and cant corner.

  • nice vids learned a lot thx

  • Would 100% acel & 100% decel on RWD make it more stable?

  • great video mate, wasn't boring at all, please make more videos with forza3.

  • you have to make the call. 100% will give you the most straight line traction but will push through turns on accel, on FWD I always leave decel 10 or below, you dont want to be off the gas turning and have the diff try to keep the two tires that are spinning at different speeds, at the same speed. youll push when you let off the gas. anywhere from 40-75 on accel would be good

  • Hello,

May I know if the differentials could help prevent the car from torque steer? What would be the best set-up for a FWD car?

  • Great tutorial. I look forward to the next ones you make. Very good explanation of the differential and how it works. This has been helpful. Thanks!

  • Wow, really good tuts. Thx
