OMG! I was in this race, but we finished the race. Wow, 44 people are in the water in seconds. How do you get that many people out of the water and and to safety? A question for the Dragon Boat Community. Suggestion: How about a Dboat Rescue Boat that tows a special floating dock to load people on and tow back to safety. Or ...since these boats never sink just fills up with water, how about a high speed submersable pump to refloat the boats hmmm. But may not be able to get swamped peeps in
hahhaa i saw this all happen as i was waiting in line to go next

Quite easy solution - use a RIB instead of a hard boat much safer!

The floating-dock idea would not work because everyone would grab the dock from one side and tip it, making it impossible to get on the dock.
