Yes, I agrre that he shouldn't be insulted, but I dont get how he could be honoured with a black belt with a fighting style like that. He should be a white belt if thats his kumite style.

Was he weak? Was slow? Wasn't a good karateka? Anyway that doesn't justify the insults.

No, it wasn't because he lost that he gets insulted. Win or lose has nothing to do with it. It was THE WAY in which he fought that deserved ... a little insulting. To help him improve. There's other ways too. But then he'd have to go to Japan for the special treatment.
