I remember seeing a 58 Packard in 1958. I pointed it out and my father muttered something under his breath and made a face. People who remembered Packard in its glory never forgave Studebaker for what they did to it. Now they look interesting.

Bite your tongue! I think the front end looks great -- much better than the Studebaker Hawks, since that upright grill always looked like it had been stuck on those cars as an afterthought. It just didn't fit with the cars' lines. This one did, even if it does look like a catfish.

It was made when cars were made and they cared about quality, style and you got what you paid for. It is very cool. I would have drove that car home from where ever I bought it.
