From the Chicago show that featured the album "Born To Run" in it's entirety, here is a sample of the beautiful and poignant version of "Meeting Across The River" the band delivered followed by an incomplete excerpt "Jungleland".
it takes guts to even attempt Randy Brecker's iconic trumpet arrangement. Curt Ramm gets an A+. And hearing that sax is giving my goosebumps--bless you Clarence and rest in peace!
Thanks for posting. Meeting was, for me, the highlight of the Washington DC 2 November 2009 show - gorgeously performed, with compelling conviction. Jungleland is always welcome, but meeting (with a horn) is a rarity until this "album" tour. 16 (enhanced) E Street members on stage at one point.

Who's the horn player on Meeting?

The mix for the horn was too much.... especially during the vocals.

I flew from Philly to see this show! I was so glad I did. This version of Meeting Across the River was worth it by itself!
