@333blackmath I feel the same. He's written some absolutely classic songs with the Velvet Underground and a few in his solo career, but lyrically, this song is pretty shit. I think he's considered one of the greatest lyricist based on his VU work

As far as I know this song is indeed a reference to Andy Warhol hence the title Andys chest ( re: when he got shot in the chest? ). I've loved this album all my life as my parents used to play it when I was a kid... Im now 30! :/

@reallibertine he would be the genius that he is, they teamed up together back in the 60's with the Exploding Plastic Inevitable, both geniuses and they helped one another, influenced one another to say one was more than the other is just well how u say? not particularly accurate

@seviwesuohetarepsed the velvets helped to make the 60's also, lou has always been a genius, born that way, what a dude (not to take anything away from Andy W. he was definitely a genius also, i think that's why they resonated so well with one another
