For those of you wondering if this applies to your particular vehicle...the only way to really find out is to either look yourself, or buy a Haynes Service Repair Manual. $25 at AutoZone for your particular vehicle, and it tells you not only what kind of mechanism you would use, but it also gives you step by step instructions for how to replace it. Definitely worth the investment if you are going to be doing your own repairs on your car.
