  • Hi, I used to be mormon and ive always wanted to at least visit utah or even possibly live there! I like it mainly for the mountains and snow among other things... My question is, is mormonism a problem there? Because I have heard the mormon church have a big say in things and are basically above the law lol That is the only thing that puts me off... Please let me know :) thanks!

  • @liamlloyd77 Hello! There are a lot of mormons here yes.. but I honestly haven't really noticed. Not one person has come up to me and said anything about coming to church or what not. It really just like anywhere else. If you like the mountains and snow and outdoor stuff you'd love it here.

  • thats pretty cool! i appreciate you for sharing your experience. Nobody in my family has moved from Maine and your vid brings inspiration to me and the belief in myself that I can do it. my move date isnt set for another 2 or 3 years and im not bringing any furniture so moving stuff shouldnt be a biggie. Oh, btw, just cuz im interested, what made u want to live in Utah? for me, the main reason is the snoww =D

  • @burrr91 Yeah None of my family has lived in Utah.. So it was just me against the world. :P I moved to utah because I could attend Weber State and pay less than i would if I went to a Texas school. And i wanted to live somewhere with mountains, and snow! You'll be great. :] Where in Utah were you planning to move to?

  • Im going to be in your shoes when i get my associates degree, ill be moving to Utah from maine. how is it? starting a new life? what was the most difficult part when u got there?

  • @burrr91 And another hard thing at first is finding your way around. But in a week or 2 you'll know where all the main things are. :]

  • Nicee! Im Still doing research before I decide where but chances are I will be moving in either salt lake or bountiful, I think my hardest part will be finding a job in my career field and finding one that is a decent commuting distance to where I live. living in maine I really dont have lots of city experience. I went through Hartford CT once for a concert and I thought I was ganna total my car x)

  • @burrr91 I love it here. I was super scared to move at first and did not want to move because I was scared of the unknown.. But now that I've been here I think back and say why was I ever scared. Starting a new life is just what i needed. It's awesome to move somewhere totally new and not no one person. Its a clean fresh start and it's super fun. The most difficult part would be... the actual moving in itself. It's hard to move all your stuff from one place to another.
