this performance really sucks!

@verit8889 exactly

Your house. I want it.
-
how long did it take you to learn this song??
-
Good execution, a lot of technique but little feeling.
-
@verit8889 no he didn't played this piece it was an other but it wasn't spectacular enough so they changed it

@verit8889 I'm not arguing with your point. But, why are you offended if posters want to talk about their favorite pianos? They're obviously serious musicians and music devotees and understand what you are saying about passion. Why the anger? If you want to feel anger, direct it toward people who are oblivious to heavenly music.

@weterr123 There is a website somewhere a pianist told me about where you can get really good pianos for free. All you have to do is pay for the movers to transport them for you. They are free for all sorts of reasons. Sometimes they are inherited and the family doesn't play, for instance.

Remember it is not WHAT brand you play on but the passion you have while playing.

@karennorwegian If you failed to get my last post, here goes. Mr. Szpliman nor my Dad thought the war was anything other than a tragedy. Please play on what ever brand you wish. But it will not make you a great musician or me a better person. To be the kind of character they both were you and I would have to be born with it. And sorry to say you and I will never achieve their greatness. But at least I can say in my lifetime I meet a person of great character.

Who cares what piano you play on Steinway or Yamaha's. Mr. Szpliman played this ballade or another one to a German officer and it helped save his life. It is not the brand name of the instrument you play on but the passion you feel while playing.

Chopin invented ragtime at 8:58. No doubt about it.
