It depends on how you initially look at it. I can see where you are coming from with that. It is really talking about if we are the body then why aren't we doing more. We aren't doing all that we can do to show God in the world. He is saying that we are the body and that we are not showing the light of Christ as we should.

You would have to see the video for it to make complete sense. The real video that Casting Crowns has out for it.

I forgot to say that this is one of my favorite songs. It really can feel that way sometimes in the world or in your own life. The lyrics in the song are perfectly chosen to represent the message that Casting Crowns is trying to get out with this song.
