  • ^^ my trompet from Getzen cost 1200$

  • you got ripped off

  • But what did you use to get it set up, obviously a mic, what else? I just wanna try get a set up going

  • yea man. get a mic and an xlr (mic cable) to 1/4" (guitar cable) adapter and plug that baby into some effects units, then run those to an amp or speaker system.

  • How did you go about doing this I've wanted to experiment for so long but how do you get it set up?

  • you should just figure out what effects you like, and then try them out one at a time until you can combine them to make a lot of different sounds. i am using chorus, harmony, distortion, and delay effects here.

  • what kind of pedal are you playing through ? that one effect was super cool ! The one where it sounded like a guitar

  • do you have to use the mute?

  • i'm with danielwills93. pretty sure that's a cornet. not to nit-pick or anything.

  • I dunno ... effects ... do they add to or take away from the musical impact (emotional impact) of what your playing

  • $1200 for a professional Getzen trumpet isn't getting ripped off... It might for you CORNET...

  • @cheeserider13 sounds like a harmon mute to me.
