Well, that's not surprising since Luther was an excommunicated heretic. Lutherism is a twisting of Christianity, sort of what Dawkins is to science

You're wrong. The Nazis didn't invent anti-semitism, they called up pre existent Christian hatred of jews, inspired by the greatest german theologian ever, Martin Luther.

The Nazis were in no way Christian. In fact, they gassed over 3 million Polish and Ukrainian Catholics. Their aim was to supplant Jesus Christ with a purely national and secular civil Weltanschauung based on an amalgam of politics, Indo-Aryan metaphysics, literature, and social Darwinism. Atheism is a murderous blight on humanity-anyone who gets their history from books (not the Jon Stewart Show) knows this.

But the Nazis were religious. God appears on nearly every page of Mein Kampf. Even if you argue that Hitler was secretly an atheist (and I think he probably was) the Nazi movement itself and the members that belonged to it were Christian.

Should we even go into the "fruits of religion"? That comment got to be by far the most one-sided, tunnel-vision, "pick&choose" type of comment I've ever seen. KZ's aren't the fruit of atheism, so I would appreciate if you educate yourself a little more. If you want to go that route, then I need a day to list the wars, killing and NUMBERS of dead ppl based upon religion. But I won't. Thank you.
