DAY EIGHT IN LA

Bekah sat outside and thought. She didn't want to leave Nick. She loved him obviously, but that wasn't what she was telling him. She just wanted to see how much he actually wanted her. And as of the current moment, it seemed like he wanted her a lot.

Now what was Bekah to do the whole week without Nick? Samantha. Bekah and Samantha were becoming pretty good friends. Hannah was almost being pushed aside, but she didn't mind because she had Joe. Hannah was growing away from Bekah too, but she didn't want to.

Bekah was still sitting outside when Joe returned.

Bekah : Where is Hannah?
Joe : [out of breath] She's... coming [leans over and puts his hands on his knees]
Bekah : Are you okay?
Joe : [takes a deep breath]Yes

Hannah runs up to the porch and puts her hands above her head.

Bekah : [laughs] You guys raced I guess?
Hannah : Well, yes but-
Joe : [still out of breath] Yes... and.. I won
Bekah : Why are you so tired?
Hannah : He cheated. He took a short cut
Joe : So what
Hannah : So I win, oh well. I need to shower!
Joe : Me too!!
Bekah : What are y'all doing today?
Joe : I think we're going to the beach again. You coming?
Bekah : Maybe for a little
Hannah : Oh, where are you going?
Bekah : Samantha wants me to come over
Joe : BORRRRRRINGGGGGGGGGG
Hannah : [laughs] Well I am going to rinse off then put on my swim suit, k?
Joe : Sounds good. I'll do the same. Kevin and I will me you here in 10 minutes?
Hannah : [smiles] Sounds good.

Hannah and Joe both went inside and got ready for the beach. Bekah stayed out on the porch. She figured that maybe she could talk to Nick when there weren't as many people in the house. She decided to wait outside until Hannah, Joe, and Kevin left.

Bekah sat outside for fifteen minutes. Finally the front door opened. First Hannah and Joe ran out. "BYE BEKAH!!", they screamed. Kevin followed. After Kevin was Nick, dressed and ready to go the beach. Nick walked right by Bekah and didn't say a word.

They drove off, picked up Miranda, and headed to the beach.

Bekah was confused. Nick never would go out with the group unless she went too. She figured that this was how the week would go. She was upset, but shook it off. She called up Samantha so they could hang.

At the beach :]

When they got to the beach Kevin and Miranda headed straight for the waves. Unlike all the other previous beach trips, Hannah and Joe just sat in the sand. Nick sat with them. They were just messing around and watching the waves crash.

Kevin and Miranda had been in and out of the water for a while. They walked along the side of the ocean and just talked. Eventually they had walked so far that they were out of the sight of the others. Kevin sat down, then Miranda sat next to him.

Miranda [looking at the beach] : Wow, it's so pretty
Kevin : I know. I really like coming here and just relaxing
Miranda : Well we need to come more often!
Kevin : [laughs] We will then
Miranda [smiles] : Good
Kevin : Yeah..

They continue to watch the waves. Kevin looks at Miranda and smiles.

Miranda : What?
Kevin : Oh nothing [smiles again]
Miranda : Kevin, what is it?
Kevin : I can't
Miranda : Can't what?
Kevin : Nothing, [laughs] just don't worry about it
Miranda : TELL ME!
Kevin : I don't have anything to tell you though
Miranda : [confused] Then what were you going to do?

Kevin hesitates then leans in and kisses Miranda on the lips. He quickly backs off.

Kevin : Yeah.. Sorry, that's just what I wanted to do.
Miranda : [laughs] Um.. I'm not complaining
Kevin : Oooo, so you liked it?
Miranda : Of course
Kevin : Good [smiles then leans in for another kiss]

Miranda leans back

Miranda : I liked it... but we don't want to rush remember?
Kevin : No, I don't remember that at all!
Miranda [hits Kevin] KEVIN!
Kevin : [laughs] I'm kidding!
Miranda : [smiles] Good. We'll take it slow and just see how things go. Ok?
Kevin : Okay [smiles] Lets start heading back

Kevin and Miranda start walking back towards the others.

With Hannah, Joe and Nick

Hannah : So... Nick.. I take it that Bekah told you that she's know about Summer
Nick : Yeah, why? I'm more surprised that she didn't tell you that she told me about it
Joe : I'm not, Bekah never talks to Hannah anymore
Nick : Oh, ha. Well that makes two of us.
Joe : Three of us actually, but she never talked to me anyway..
Hannah : [laughs] Well that's true
Nick : She wants to break up with me
Hannah and Joe : WHAT?!??!
Nick : Yupp. I think she's sick of me
Hannah : Don't be ridiculous
Joe : Yeah, you're freaking Nick Jonas!
Hannah : [laughs] She'll come around, I know she will. She's just going through a stage or something.
Nick : [sighs] I hope so
