The spraying of sugar water is to make it more "attractive" to the flies but it is not neccessary.

You can just put sweet baits which are wet & moist in the rotating barrel.

But once the bait is dried, it will not be very "attractive"

Flies do not have teeth, LOL. It can only suck up liquid food.

If its fully automated why the need to spray all the time? and what advantage doies this have over the ones you can build at home with no moving parts?
