this was when simpsons was gold and character based comedy now its just crappy unfnny jokes even matt groeing admits they arent anywhere as good adn would be nothing without the originals.

what they did was repeat the animation, so it's cheaper to make and easier for the artists. they do this on a lot of episodes, this one is just a little more noticeable. still, good eye.
