I did what I promised. I hiked that trail again in ahwatukee and made it to the top to take video down below.

Hi Moonchimes, thanks for the comment. I moved to phoenix about 4 1/2 years ago. I'm just now starting to get out and explore the desert a little bit. I was born a northern boy so I do miss the cold and I miss the woods, rivers, and lakes in Wisconsin where I'm from, and as well in Missouri where I did a lot of growing up as well. The desert is growing on me though, I'm learning to find beauty in it. :0)

Yeah, I need to get a stand or something so I can put it on zoom and keep it still. I haven't delt much with video cameras so I'm learning as I go.

I am sooo glad that you made it to the top - and back in one piece! What a spectacular view, I watched it on high quality and it was awesome, you have a good zoom on that camera! liking the widescreen aspect too. Gotta remember to put the sunblock on dude, we only get one skin!:)

Wow Brain. Thank you!! that was just so beautiful. We used to live in Phoenix. Then we spent ten years in Tucson. Now, we are in Vegas. i totally love the desert. I couldn't live anywhere else.
