  • i love mopar...

  • @ragnarokia11 You have great taste! MOPAR or NO CAR BABY!!!

  • THAT is dedication to bring that Mopar back to it's original form...NICE JOB!!

  • @imarealist101 Thank You! Lot of Blood, sweat and tears!

  • This cars story is one of my ultimate favorites. I read this one over and over and never get tired of it. Classic 1970 RT literature.

  • I wish more people shared your enthusiasm about my project! After all my hard work, I did'nt get much of a response from the Mopar community other then a comment here and there from a few people. Mopar Collectors Guide, who I thought would jump at this story just turned their noses up at the car like it was no big deal. Thanks for your comment. It means a lot to me!

  • Just imagine how many people you would have to contact to cover all of the owners of some of our Chargers. I have reached the last two owners of my 70 Charger 500, the second one being the guy who bought it because it was flawless, with the intention of using the body to restore his 440 6-pack park. Fortunately, it sat undriven for about 12 years before I got ahold of it.

    Awesome story.

  • @gomangojoe unbelievable. this is a riot... how cool!!

  • Nice. Check out my 70 Charger R/T SE 440 Six Pack

  • @gomangojoe i know what you mean about the magnet for bad drivers and a-holes. i felt the same about my mustang but then i realized i was the a-hole and everybody else was going too slow for me.

  • A buddy of mine in the late 60's early 70's that lived on clay hill rd.......his sister dated a guy who had a custom built Super Bee.....is this the same one?

  • Nice video dad

  • what is this cars story? I havent heard it, can you reply it to me. Or post it in the information for the video

  • @gomangojoe Sorry to hear that. My respect for Mopar came from living in Aberdeen South Dakota which was Mopar country at the time. Great story about the car.

It's good to see Mopar get back into the performance game to shake up the Big Two. It's been far too long for Chrysler considering their legacy. The new Challenger will shake up the status quo and I tip my cap to Mopar for staying faithful to the original design. Something GM and Ford haven't done.

  • @gomangojoe Hey dude, great video! Would you beleive I rode in your car back in 1972, when Butch Puliese owned it? I know Peter Prosio and Butch very well.

Tell them Vinnie Caruso said hello :)

  • It's easy to beat a Charger when it's written into the script that way.

  • cheers to fruits of labour! ur the man

  • I figured you played by your ytube name. I play a little myself but I only have 4 guitars. I play for fun. It Keeps me Sane! Sometimes insane! Did you check out my steelheart videos?

  • I must admit, I did have my fun with the car and the garage. Unfortunatly life changes and you have to move on to the next part of your life. I ended up moving to AZ. and selling the car. To tell you the truth, every time I drove the car, It was a Magnet for bad drivers and A-Holes! And remember, one damaged panel on the car would turn into a nightmare to fix or replace. You can't just run down to the dealership for the parts. Buy a vintage guitar. It might be a better investment.

  • Oh yeah, Not including the 100+ hours of work I did myself.

  • Just around 40K, nine years ago. I could have got away cheaper but I'm a perfectionist and I don't cut corners.

  • how much did you pay to do that?

  • aaahhh.understand now :)

very nice.great work there i think.i bet it was a very interesting afternoon.i would like to own a charger too... cars and fuel are so expensive in germany xD
