I couldn't help but notice that the original fade out is a little longer than the one that made it to the Greatest Hits CD, just 3 seconds or so, but still noticeble.

As WCBS-FM DJ Bob Shannon notes, it's the "behind the hits" facts that really adds to the entire oldies experience!
Stay tuned, as later today I'll be getting most of the "more info" factoids posted. All that info is what also triggers a lot of comments, which is the fun part!
It's kind of like rebuilding a house after having it destroyed. Fortunately, a lot of stuff I saved, but unfortunately, some of it is now gone. Eventually it will all be put back right.
