This is from the 2005 Skeptics Conference where leading scientists discuss issues that strike at the very heart of the matter, our brains. Topics range from morality to evolution to consciousness to life after death. It's an absolutely amazing collection of lectures.

Mr. Shermer seems to be full of "knowledge" about mind,brain,and quantum physics,and he is not a physicist,not a neuroscientist,neither a psychiatrist,he is a psychologist by profession,and probably not practicing one.

It is sad to hear him talking about these deep subjects,using derogatory terms to refer to experts in those fields.

I am a skeptic myself,but I would never let a person like him to represent me.

IMHO,he is what Philip Roth called a "self congratulatory congratulator"!
