@rpottage Yes,a military is necessary in this day and age.But saying that we should have it because you wan't it is nonsensical. That's what got us into socialized health care, the welfare state, corporate subsidies,free market regulation, high taxes, insane amount of national debt, firearms control, drug control, restricting gay marriage, useless wars, and bloated government spending. We are spending money on things we want rather than what we need(military,courts,protectin­g individual freedom)
