In the report it said that despite his megalomania Hitler was profoundly insecure. His own underlings said that he was "afraid of logic" and would literally run out of the room if challenged. Contradicting him was considered an extremely severe offense, by him. He said that "Conscience is a blemish that the Jews have inflicted on humanity, like circumcision". There is literally no limit to how diseased his mind was

I found a psychological profile of him online (I think it was compiled by the OSS during or after the war), which goes into extreme detail about his psyche. Needless to say, it is not a pretty picture. He apparently had a slew of sexual perversions (attraction to his niece among them). He also had a severe Messiah Complex and thought of himself as a kind of Jesus figure. During his time in Vienna he grew a beard to look like Jesus, while enjoying squalor and wallowing in his own filth

I was afraid to watch this movie when it first came out. If it weren't for the good character of the man Schindler in the movie, I would have walked out from the pain.
