"I've Been Thinkin" ( sung by JC Crowley ) is taken from Players 2nd album...."Danger Zone" in 1978.....
The "Danger Zone" was a more solid album than their self titled debut a year earlier in 1977 & several songs on the Danger Zone album couldve been chart hits, including, "I've Been Thinkin" but, their label RSO Records was more interested in promoting The BeeGees & Andy Gibb at the time & had lost interest in Player by 1978 & so, founder / lead singer & songwriter....JC Crowley left Player shortly after "Danger Zone" was released......
Player did tour with Eric Clapton & Gino Vannelli at the time.......
Oh, PS: Visit Patty Meyer's website for all things Peter Beckett and Player. The website is called Peter Beckett: Heart and Soul. She has some very rare, hard to find albums, and she'll even burn copies of your favorites if she doesn't have them on hand. It's a great tribute to some very talented people we need to see more of in this day and age!

I've been a Player fan since 1977 at the ripe young age of 13. These guys were a great pop band with some good rock edges, and it's a shame they weren't as big as they deserved to be. I also have all their albums and think Peter Beckett is the most underrated multi-tasking talent in the music business. Godspeed for keeping on with the keeping on, Pete and Ronn!

Love these guys so much! I have all of their LPs, plus a CD compilation. A lot of people compare them to Hall & Oates, but that's a very good thing indeed. Thanks for another great upload.
