Drum cover of Chains a cover by The Beatles which they recorded on February 11, 1963 released on the British LP, Please Please Me. Sung by George Harrison. A song composed by the Brill Building husband-and-wife songwriting team Gerry Goffin and Carole King and was a major hit for Little Eva's backing singers, The Cookies and later covered by The Beatles and was included briefly in their live sets.

A "knockoff" drum cover, (took very little effort to play), though those unison-handed eighth note triplets fills that Ringo is noted for, were challenging to pull off.

Knockoff is defined as a "throwaway" as dubbed by John & Paul of songs they had written that took very little effort and were usually given to other artists. And so I've taken the liberty to adapt it to drum covers that fairly quick to do without much prep.

  • Like this. please post more rare beatles records.

  • @benredz Thanks. I already have quite a few uploaded. Use the Search engine on my channel and input "Beatles" and see what turns up.

  • Cia Sal,

  • Thanks for the great covers...

  • @PamelaJoParrish Well thank you for watching them, I appreciate it.

  • wow... love the early Beatles

  • A lot of the early Beatles have very simple drumming but it is very good none the less.

  • @MikeJamz00 It's from The Beatles very first album, Please Please Me. The one they recorded over a dozen songs in about 12 hours. Pretty much recorded their live set.

  • @GcMaRtinii Yea it is.
