Slimes only spawn under level 16. If you're looking for them, stay around that area (bigger rooms are better too).

You're not likely to find a slime while cave exploring. Branch mining seem to create the conditions they like, so go do some of that and see if one shows up.

Lol, but seriously, the next big thing I'm waitin' for on this series is to see the colluseum finished! We wouldn't judge you if you jus' mass-spawned sand to finish it (you'll need to anyway when creepers start blowin' it up…)!

@AndreasTPC Actually, cave exploring works fine... but you need to be low enough and stay in the area long enough for them to feel like appearing lol
I went down guudes 2nd branch mine to look for lupus lol and there was a light up cave... after running through it and finding a few dark spots, i got my lupus and found slimes :P
Also, I slept with nebris and theJims last night ;D booyah lol this new patch is SO gay

I like that you dont use F3 to find enemies. I hope you dont ever. I like that you have to work for you kills and not just find em the easy eay. Even though you didnt find much this video (i was expecting another 10 spawners) great video. Thanks!

@deadmweet - they are just like every other mob in the game, they do drop slime balls but right now they don't have a use.
