At 10:50 a.m., employees at the Victoria Avenue Bellevue Postal Facility discovered a suspicious white powder leaking out of a package and alerted their supervisor who called 911. Five employees were taken from the post office and decontaminated in a Bellevue Volunteer Fire Department decontamination tent. The employees have since been taken to Creighton and are showing no symptoms of anything yet. The Bellevue Police Department notified the postal inspector and FBI. The postal inspector is currently testing the powder to see what it is. No buildings surrounding the post office have been evacuated, but the post office itself is cordoned off.
