@PastNorwegianBlue What if you shoot a knife welding assailant with an automatic paintball gun (13 balls per second) at a range of less than 5 metres? Won't it sting a bit or temporarily interrupt or prevent a stabbing?

Don't ever use a marker for home defense. It wont stop anyone, and will most likely escalate the situation.

@XplatinmsnipaX rubber balls hurt more than the regular paint balls cause they don't explode and they bounce right off. It also leaves a huge welt and a lot of the momentum gets obsorbed into your skin.

And a question... I'm a civilian looking at firearm alternatives for home defense and the like. Are the capsaicin based rounds available for civilians or is it strict company policy to sell only to military and police?
I ask because the Rap4 website advertises the T68 pistol like a civilian home defense tool... Which would be odd if the Capsaicin rounds weren't available.
