@TheArlberg1 Concrete cracks. I believe the liner underlayment filter fabric acts as a cushion between the ground and the concrete and allows for movement thereby minimizing potential cracks. There are products sold that can be mixed into wet concrete to help waterproof it. There are also waterproof coatings sold that you can paint over dried concrete to help waterproof it. I use both occasionally.

@TheArlberg1 Thank you I got the message it,s the first time. Well done. I have one question? Is it necessary to have an underliner under the rubber and can concrete be made to be waterproofed against rocks and rubber liner? I would think just build it on a slope than it is all o.k. Any help before I ha a go? It,s addictive!

You build something here that only God can do better and bigger! I like it and copy from it but than I am only a beginner, you got a very special gift and touch. I like it!

@2011AnitaMaria Gracias!
i think this is the most natural looking stream ive ever seen on youtube. i love the attention to detail on the rocks that make them look harmonious and natural. is this just liner or concrete? or perhaps a combination of both?
