Kid Robot Soho Grand Opening

Matt Cohen, itsbongoboy.com presents the up close and personal, first on the internet view of the mega grand opening of Kid Robot's flagship store that took place on May 1, 2008 It's with great anticipation that I look forward to the grand opening of the Kid Robot flagship store in Soho, NYC. I am very excited because my father will pick me up from school and we will drive to the NYC for this exciting event.

Kid Robot is a maker or urban vinyl and clothing. Kid Robot was where my collecting of toys began. Ever since my first purchase I have been going back to buy more toys to add to my collection.

Kid Robot announced that they will be giving away t-shirts and there will be surprise appearances by urban art celebrities.

After getting picked up right after school we drove towered the city. As we parked we saw the line to the kid robot store was substantial, therefore I got on line as quickly as I could. As we awaited the opening there were Kid Robot trivia giveaways. While I was on line Giant Realm, an Internet TV station, interviewed me. When the store opened it was only a matter of time until I got inside the store. As I entered the store I was amazed with the design of the store. This day was a very exciting day.
