hi i think there is a company called baileys in the states that sell Solo saws.As mentioned i a only own a top handle 633 ,it is only a few ounces heavier than a stihl ms200t but puts out the same hp.Also the hand space beneath the trigger is greater.good if you have gloves on.I use mine on a med/ trade basis and it fires from cold on 3rd pull of the cord.the brake is very well engineered also.worth a look if you have to climb.Lee

@LCHLLO2008 So solo is a german company?  I am a hobbyist with a stihl 039. I cut down big bull pine to clear property for a friend. I love my still and always look for good saws because they are alot of fun and great machines. I just never heard of solo before I saw your video. I will certainly look into them more. Can I find them in the states?

@corndogcj Just if you needed a recommendation i got the solo 633 top handle saw it is fantastic well made better hand space than a 200t, never misses a beat ,easy to clean and about half the cost.Going to buy the 637 soon which is on test on you tube.Got huskies as well but 633 cant be faulted.its German i suppose !! ta Lee

What is a 681 solo? Is that the company name or what? What is its displacement compared to the 460? 440? 039?

what a lot of crap.i use a 681 solo processing in the bush,it out cuts the stihls and huskys.

these sorts of tests are crap there is to many veriables,i.e sproket,sharpening,etc.

i love the stihl but the solo is a far better saw
