My name is Mark Gitter and I'm the Chief Financial Officer of GVTC and I run SAP.

GVTC is a full service telecommunications company. We have landline voice service, we have Internet service, we have cable TV and we have security services. We've got about a 2,000 square mile serving area and we are the largest telephone cooperative in the state of Texas. When I walked in the door in 2004, we weren't even utilizing any kind of formal or state-of-the-art banking systems for our treasury management. We had no access to data or information. They weren't focused on that because it was a monopolistic environment that was really geared toward taking orders. We come in, this new competitively-minded, performance-based team and we said, "I need data. I need to find out how many access lines we have. I need to find out where our customers are." Looking for information like this and nobody could tell me, so it was very discouraging and very frightening at the same time.

My responsibility as a CFO was, obviously, I had finance and accounting and budgeting and financial reporting, but I also had IT. Our business is challenged with what we've referred to as our revenue replacement strategy. We've got to grow our retail revenues at a faster pace and we have to do so profitably going forward in order to sustain our current levels of net cash flow and income. And so, performance-based measurements in metrics and financial reporting, budgeting, rolling forecasts are going to be more critical to GVTC going forward, and so, we are very excited to be able to use the SAP BPC tool to be able to provide more insight into our product margin analysis and our profitability, our trends, and our metrics
