All tarantulas carry venom, and the hair of the Avicularia avicularia can cause skin rashes to people who are allergic to it. it is better to be safe than sorry with a tarantula, they are foreign animals and must be treated with respect and caution. this species is,however, one of the more social tarantulas and can get along quite well with humans.

why are u wearing a glove its a pink toe an antilles they are harm less i play whith my king baboon and its alot more aggressive and all of my pink toes have never tried to harm me including my antilles

handling a pink toe with welding gloves? xD
This was my first time handling her. If you check out my other videos, you'll see that I've handled her without the gloves. Thanks for all the encouragement, it was quite a memorable experience.
