the fake trojan i got was Windows Antivirus pro which if i tried to open mcafee it would tell me i was infected and to buy their software as well.:(

@4795623 Actually, SpySheriff is harmful, but so, so simple to terminate. I downloaded it to my VMware session and successfully deleted all the infected registry keys and the program. The new-age rogues, however, are so much more advanced and volatile; I stay away from those! [=
