ティク・ナット・ハンはベトナム出身の禅僧・平和運動家・詩人。
ダライ・ラマ14世と並んで、現代社会における実際の平和活動に従事する代表的な仏教者であり、行動する仏教または社会参画仏教（Engaged Buddhism）の命名者でもある。アメリカとフランスを中心に活動を行なっており、世界でもっとも著名な仏教僧の一人。

On March 15, 2011, Zen and mindfulness teacher Thich Nhat Hanh has offered a "message to friends in Japan," emphasizing interconnection and offering "peace, healing and protection."

We, a group of Thich Nhat Hanh's students in Hong Kong, made this video base on our teacher's message, and would like to send our best wishes and prayer to the Japanese people.
