I guess Tim doesn't get a tingle up the ol' leg. Personally I think Tim should have shown up . . . and thrown a shoe or better yet a skate at Obama - speaking truth to power and all that.

The commander and chief of this great country wants to congratulate you for a great season ans you spit in his face!.Tim should be thrown out of this country and striped of his USA citizenship. It's about me thinning is whats wrong with the system. I feel embarrassed to be a Bruins fan and for his team mates

His attendance at the White House would not have served as a forum for him to talk to the president in a political capacity. I'm sure he feels the same way that I do in thinking that these common media directed celebrations of achievement are kind of insulting when you realize that nothing is accomplished through these interactions. His alarm for the well being of the country will not be reaffirmed by a pat on the back from the President. Good for him, for standing aside and making a statement!

i don't think obama's been surrounded by so many Canadians until this day happened.
kudos to Tim Thomas for having the stones, as one of the only American players on that team, to not support the corrupt systems that have ruined one of the greatest countries in the world.
