when ashley was close to giving birth, discovering a pregnant sharon about to give birth in the other room, devised a pre-meditated plan with dr.taylor to have sharon's baby kidnapped after faith was born, and give her over to ashley, with having blackmailed dr.taylor yet again that he was to tell sharon that her baby died of premature birth after this.
all in all, adam is one sick freak from hell.

Why is Nick being there in the hospital with Victoria when he should be by Sharon's side right now? She's in labor!!!

Ashley had a miscarriage from a fall months prior, because of Adam. She had a hysterical pregnancy.

Because Ashley never gave birth to begin with. He caused Ashley to have a miscarriage when he posed as Sabrina and she fell down the steps. Her body didn't stop thinking she was pregnant and she had a "hysterical pregnancy". Adam didn't want the truth to come out that Ashley miscarried because of him so he gave her Sharon's baby and made her believe she gave birth to her.

I am not clear on the specifics...but I am positive that Ashley's baby died after she gave birth and since Adam discovered that Sharon was having her baby around the same time of Ashley's baby's death, he decided to pull the old switch-a-roo. If you watch Y&R, in the next coming episodes I am predicting that this switch will FINALLY be discovered. The pieces are coming together!

Yes it will definitely have unpleasant results, but that doesn't mean it is not what needs to happen! Look at the results of the baby switch, Sharon has gone through losing 3 children and that is a pain that no parents should have to go through. It is beyond time that Sharon gets her baby back!! I want shick back together too!!!!
