And finally, the hit parade comes to town. Took a few extra innings. It also still makes me laugh that players run the catcher all the time. And whoops about the next to last batter, but at least I finish with a strikeout.
Ken Griffey Jr.'s Winning Run was a baseball game released late in the SNES's life. Rare developed it, so it had the same amazing graphics for the time that Donkey Kong Country games had. It also had some pretty cool menu music.
Griffey is the only player whose name appears in the game because there wasn't a license acquired for the rest. As a result, the rest of the players get made up names. (i.e., Cecil Fielder is Chief Caboose, Barry Bonds is Muscles McFee, etc.).
I'm playing as the Detroit Tigers against the San Francisco Giants.
