  • @AtlasObjectivist No one is paying any attention to our reparte, but your fawning admiration of Pinochet speaks volumes. That reference dooms you and your worship at the altar of Rand's brittle pseudo-intellectual philosophy to the dust bin of right-wing mania. Your teabagger populism corroborates that hysteria. Tea Baggers remind me of the Know-Nothings before the Civil War, another restorationist rather than transformative group.

  • @jereuter01 Matt Damon is a recognized actor, it doesn't mean he too isn't a radical leftist loon, your point of reference holds no water. "Credentialed philosopher" - LOL, as if. Credentialed by who? Academia? I have about as much respect for socialist loony academia as Pinochet did.

Trying to talk in a rational manner to radicals about Zinn or Chomsky is like wrestling with a pig. Everyone gets covered in mud and the pig enjoys it. Already a card carrying Tea Party member.

  • @AtlasObjectivist I don't now any of these people and I have no opinion as to their acting abilities. What I do know is that they are hardly radicals and that Zinn's People's History is no closer to a "lunatic rant" than your comment is a "accurate statement" of his work. Zinn IS a recognized Historian. As for Rand's Objectivism and obsolescence, no credentialed philosopher considers Objectivism to be a philosphy. Again, grow up. Join the teabaggers.

  • @jereuter01 Taking things personally, I hope I was not insulting a girlfriend? Yes, perhaps you are correct, I may have overstepped my bounds. Who am I to rate the thespian talents of radical liberals based on ten minutes of video. I should leave that to Frank Rich and the NY Times. My overt tone is due to their subject matter and the lunatic ravings of Zinn. In regard to Rand, I am amused that her philosophy drives "pseudo-intellectuals" crazy, perhaps because it renders them... obsolete.

  • @AtlasObjectivist Energetic, talented entertaining individuals - standard fare (you ignorant moron) for enlightened "individuals" unwilling t/swallow whole revisionist history. BTW, there is no "objective" manner by which one can perceive one's environment. Human counsciousness & perception is subjective. Move on from the soap-box oratory of fictional John Galt & your facination with Rand's infantile pseudo-philosophy.

  • Pathetic and confused individuals, standard fair for communist liberals.

  • I used to do theatre, kinda makes me wanna get back into it.

  • Very nice. Thank you.

  • haha, footnote. This is really good.

  • Lol, I read this book, and I remember this passage.
