A traditional melody for when a Chantan is present at Friday Evening kaballat Shabbat prayers. Lyrics: Be not ashamed, be not abased, why so downcast, why disgraced? The Poor shall find a place to dwell, The City built upon the hill. O come Beloved, the Bride to greet, The Sabbath presence let us meet.
O Pressers trample down at last, Devourers far away be cast. As a groom rejoices, his Bride to see, so will your God's rejoicing be.
You will spread to left and right. The Lord will be great in your sight. Through the son of Perets by his hand, we shall rejoice and be glad.
Crown of her husband, come in peace. Let joy and gladness now increase. With the treasured people come abide to the faithful ones come O bride.
