my 425 magnum has a hard time getting in gear.. you have to rev it a bit while in Neutral, then put it into high and it engages.. or i put it in high and rock the crap outta the bike and it'll click into high etc. fucking anoying lol
someone has the same 1996 polaris magnum arround here i need some help i have a problem with the wires the previous owner unplug all the wires and i think he put it back in the wrong connection also the the motor oil hoses i have one goes to the air filter and is push the oil with pressure to my air filter and the oil smell gasoline i need help please i need to see a short video of all this just to match wires and connections thanks!
@paparoach351 im not sure where mine is rubbing...it could be on the backing for the cover behind clutch.......fun things to remove if you dont have the puller....i remove bolt, fill hole with grease then use larger bolt that will thread into the clutch itself....when it pops..it pops!
@paparoach351 lol oh that.....if mine idles too low it will rub....bump the idle up a little and it went away....ive never had a reason to have the cover off since it started to rub... belt just keeps on going. havent rode it for a few years....just when i need the low range, somthing my scrambler 500 doesnt have
my 1st quad was one of these...still have it, runs just the transmission i think is finally wearing out....gets stuck in gear. thing was a beast, with swampers on all 4 id have to pull out all my buddies hondas and yamaha quads....unless they were smart enough to weld or lock the front diff. never had a belt slip either
very nice
