UPDATE - The NRA and the Second Amendment Foundation have both filed separate lawsuits against the State of Illinois for their unconstitutional laws that prohibit law abiding citizens the ability to defend their lives, families, and properties.

AMAZING that Daley thinks the public should pay for armed guards to protect him, but should not have the ability to protect themselves.

Why dio they always call it "gun violence" ? If 100 people where killed by a baseball bat a month would they use the term "bat violence" or call it for what it really is.... "gang violence" or "Illegal activity". Those living in Illinois know that Chicago is a GIGANTIC portion of those shooting percentages and an even larger percentage is little gangbangers popping each other and carrying illegally with stolen guns anyways.

Richard Daley is a scumbag, corrupt politician. I can't stand living in Chicago or Illinois. He loves his 10 body guards though; what a hypocrite. Daley, and other unconstitutional Chicago dickheads need to go.

what a stand up guy right there he wants us to get carjacked robbed raped and killed i carry everyday i know its not right but i have a utah ccw and took 40 hrs of training. there was a drive by about a month ago here and i was outside when it happened a guy jumped into my truck and went to drive away 2 .45 rounds into my door made him get out real quick cost me a new door but i bet we wont try that again
