Ayrton Senna 1991 - Gp Brasil (Interlagos) Última volta - 6ª marcha. - 6th Gear

Em 91, durante uma monótona corrida chuvosa, faltando 10 voltas para o final, Senna liderava a prova com uma confortável vantagem de 40 segundos sobre o segundo colocado Ricardo Patrese. Porém, faltando 7 voltas para a bandeirada final, um defeito na caixa de câmbio obrigou Senna a continuar pilotando com uma única marcha, a sexta. A vantagem de 40 segundos foi se reduzindo dramaticamente, pondo em dúvida a vitória de Senna. Felizmente, o brasileiro conseguiu levar o carro no braço até a linha de chegada, vencendo de forma heróica. Guiar o carro com apenas uma marcha não é fácil, exige do competidor um esforço sobre-humano. Por esse motivo, logo após receber a bandeirada, Senna não resistiu ao cansaço e estacionou o carro no meio da pista.

In 1991, during a dull rainy race, missing the final 10 laps, Senna was leading the race with a comfortable 40-second lead over second-placed Ricardo Patrese. However, missing seven laps to the checkered flag, a defect in the gearbox forcing Senna to keep riding with a single motion, to Friday. The 40-second lead has diminished dramatically, putting in doubt the victory of Senna. Fortunately, the Brazilian managed to bring the car in the arm to the finish line, winning in a heroic way. Steer the car with just one gear is not easy, requires a competitive superhuman effort. For this reason, shortly after taking the checkered flag, Senna succumbed to fatigue and parked the car in the middle of the track.

@YukiNekoPrincess The first idea was to play this theme at the end of brazilian GPs, to any driver who'd won it. Then they thought it would be a better idea to play it everytime a brazilian driver won a GP. As the Theme became famous with Senna (because he was the one who made it famous, as he was the brazilian driver winning lots of GPs at the time), brazilians call it the "Senna's song" or "Senna's theme".

It was composed by a brazilian group called "roupa nova" ("new clothes" in br-pt)

The best , for ever !!!!

The manual gearbox is blocked on the same report. Those that doubts it, listen to the variations of V12 motor regime. To finish running on the single report without destroying the clutch mechanism in carbon is a feat which few actual pilots could make in such a case. Fantastic Ayrton !!!!!!
