You say the word "torture" as if to scare us.  There are reasons for torture. Logical reasons. It is a nasty, brutal, and inhumane thing to do to anyone, but that doesn't mean we should not use it under the proper circumstances. I wouldn't want to torture anyone myself, but the truth is, some people DESERVE IT. We're talking about TERRORISTS here. Terrorists who want to BOMB our nation and kill thousands of innocent civilians.

He had a chance to end torture. McCain traded that in 2006 to be the nominee of the republican party via a odd meeting on capital hill with George Bush behind closed doors. I watched this with my very own eyes on c-span and not a word was said. I knew then what had happend.

I called McCains office and told them that I knew what he had just done taking his torture amendment off the table after that meeting with Bush so he could be the nominee and look what has happened?
