I mostly agree with this video but one mistake I would like to point out is that they are called "barrista's" not "brewista's" and that is something to be taken seriosly (maybe not at starbucks as I doubt they have any proper training) but its not a term dreamed up to make them sound cool, like subways "sandwich" artists.

What exactly is an "important rant"? I'm not trying to address important social and political issues. The only social change I'm pushing for is for people to be less inhibited about their anger. That means being able to openly rant about and criticize things they hate, be they tremendously important or as insignificant as being bothered by franchise coffee houses.

I think Starbucks sucks. I don't find anything wrong with the coffee, and sure it's pricey. Sure a lot of stuck up hipster assholes go there. What bugs me is the LINES. I cannot have Starbucks as my first cup. I have to go and get coffee to stand in line for their coffee. I'd be dead by the time I'm at the front.

I'm inbetween on Starbucks. I go there frequently, and could spend hours there reading, nursing an espresso. That's not a bad thing. Yes, it can be a breeeding ground for hipsters, but who cares? Why get so effected by it? You just happened to go on a bad day and get substandard service. You shouldn't judge the whole pie because you got a bad slice.

I have a few things to say...

1. Four dollars MY ASS. A venti cup of coffee is $2.15 dumbass. Drink prices are based specifically on the ingredients and how much they cost the company to purchase.

2. They go for the social environment because people LIKE to interact, believe it or not. The majority of Starbucks employees are all about helping the customer. And it's the rarity that you find one like the one you encountered. Some also go for the convenience.
