  • @stewgames 3 coats is the pro-standard of work (1st sealer then 2 coats of regular poly), anything less is asking for another refinishing job shortly down the road.

  • @omusialo lambswool will make your floor look like a mirror.

  • Can you Please tell me what Color Stain you used on ur floors and how many Coat of Polyurethane did you put on ur floors. Thank You

  • I'm getting Brazilian cherry Bruce floors installed what would recommend fir protection

  • @warmouth lambswool i heard is good, never tried it tho. I use micro fiber rollers everyday, 12" for small jobs, 18" for large jobs, works awsome, bubbles almost never show up unless you screw an area up.

  • What! Bare feet? No way. Shoes are fine and it will leave no scuffs, unless you are wearing cheapo Walmart shoes. Lambswool is the best method of applying oil-based finish, no bubbles. Certainly have to wear shoe if staining, no? Moisture on feet over buffed raw wood? Not a thing wrong with wearing shoes. That Masterline Finish is also cut heavily with paint thinner. I used Masterline everyday, and unless that is Lenmar or Woodline, its definitely cut.

  • what kind of roller do you use to do this?

  • nothing wrong with mohair rollers for finishing floors. very happy with the finish. whats wrong here is the guy shouldn't be wearing shoes, especially rubber soled sneakers or shoes as it leaves scuff marks no matter how lightly your walking. if u accidentally step on the laquer a little bit, it makes an awfull mess on the bare floor. i do mine barefoot, no shoe, no socks, just in bare feet. you can wipe your foot on the dry wood with no sticky smears.

  • I would never use a rollerl Too much chance of creating bubbles.

Lambs wool or bristle would be the better way to go.

  • Not a big fan of using a roller. I use a Shureline 7" pad from home depot. Works awesome!
