This video shows removal of an A&E systems slide awning from a 36' fifth wheel with 3 slides. There is some prep before sliding the awning off like the video shows, but it's pretty easy. All you have to do for prep is to unroll the extra fabric and pin the roller so you have access to the entire width of fabric. Once its pinned, you just have to 'un-pinch' a little keyway from the factory. When the factory installs the fabric on the RV, they pinch a little track so as to not allow the fabric to slid out while going down the road. To fix this, you silmply insert a screwdriver into the track and twist where the installer pinched the track. A small chainsaw chain file is then used to de-burr the keyway and surrounding track so you won't tear the new awning. Before installing the new fabric, it's recommended that you clean the waterproof membrane material with some warm water with mild detergent. When the new fabric is installed, you simply re-pinch the track so your new fabric doesn't work it's way out of the track when driving down the road. Entire job took 2 people about 15 min's per slide start to finish. http://www.rv-motorhome-answers.com/rv-slide-out-topper.html is where I purchased the fabric, the owner is very nice.

  • @BDNWTKFG don't know what brought you here, but if you were looking to replace the fabric on your RV Awning, it's pretty. Actually it's as easy as pulling the old off and sliding the new on just as I have shown in the video! If you aren't mechanically inclined or can't understand the English

on this video, you should take your RV to a qualified mechanic at a dealership!
